MY BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

 

I'm a former classroom teacher with California teaching credentials and a Master's Degree in Special Education, emphasis on mild to moderate learning disabilities. I have 35 years’ experience in a variety of educational settings, first as an assistant in classes for students with learning disabilities, attention challenges, and also in gifted programs. As a credentialed teacher, I led special ed. and general ed. classrooms in Mt. Diablo Unified School District for 6 years, and I've been a private learning specialist for 23 years.
